HISTORY

I started as an apprentice in Monahans, Texas with "Basin Service Electric" in 1981. I moved back to Pennsylvania in 1986 and started my own business doing mostly residential and some commercial work. In 1991 I earned my Master's license.

Then in 1995 the president of Bay Harbor Electric (BHE) made me an offer to work for his company. With the enticements of learning more about the Industrial/Commercial side of the electrical business, I accepted the offer. Within a year I was asked to be the Service Department Manager and also to contract small jobs.

In late 2005, it was obvious that BHE was going to close. I live in Erie with my wife and 2 daughters. As a family, we did not want to move. Realizing that job opportunities were not going to be in Erie, I decided it was time to once again start my own business. The benefit this time is the knowledge I gained in my 9 years in management at BHE.

My foremen are former BHE employees, so the high quality of work and safety practices will continue.

At Acclaim Electric, we are focusing on Commercial and Industrial Service and Construction. We will also do Residential work upon request. No matter how small the job, we are ready to complete it for you.
